Aviation security
In order to secure civil aviation from acts of unlawful interference, such as the terrorist acts, security system has been established in Republic of Croatia which is harmonized with legislation systems on global and European level.
In the previous period concept of civil aviation security in Republic of Croatia has changed and enhanced, in accordance with developing of the European level. Revisions and improvements have been based on adequate revisions of the European and national legislation. National legislation of the Republic of Croatia in the field of civil aviation is based on European legislation and is harmonized with international standards and recommendations.
Security measures, as one of the elements of the security systems, are implemented and applied in the segment of the aerodrome operations, air carrier operations and delivery chain operations.
Compliance and quality of the security system and measures are constantly monitored through activities of the Croatian Civil Aviation Agency, the competent Croatian authority in the field of civil aviation.
